A Different Kind of Business Opportunity
This is not a typical franchise. Fomento Schools partners with purpose-driven individuals to build and operate Pearlily Montessori® Schools that are designed to deliver authentic Montessori education while operating as strong, sustainable businesses.
You are not opening a traditional daycare center. With full day options to give parents utmost flexibility, you are building a school that becomes part of your community and shapes the lives of the children within it.
What makes Pearlily Montessori® Schools different?
- Mission-driven, not transactional.
- Built on authentic Montessori principles.
- Designed for long-term sustainability.
- Structured for both impact and growth.
Why This Opportunity and Why Now
Demand for high-quality early childhood education continues to grow, yet access to truly effective, development-focused programs remains limited.
Across the country, families are actively searching for better options— environments that go beyond supervision and truly prepare children for what lies ahead.
At the same time, more individuals are seeking meaningful work— opportunities that combine purpose with ownership and long-term impact.
Fomento Schools exists at the intersection of these two realities:
- Parents looking for higher-value alternatives, and
- Leaders ready to build something that matters.
What You Are Building
As a Fomento Schools partner, you will develop and operate a Pearlily Montessori® School in your community.
This includes:
- A thoughtfully designed Montessori learning environment;
- A trained and supported team of educators;
- A structured enrollment and growth model; and
- A school built around long-term impact on the community.
This is a business, but it is also a calling and a responsibility.
What Fomento Provides
Building a school requires more than vision. It requires a system. Fomento Schools provides the structure, tools, and guidance needed to launch and grow successfully.
Two Paths to Ownership
We recognize that great school owners come from different backgrounds. That’s why Fomento Schools supports two primary ownership models.
Option 1. Educator-Led Model
You are Montessori-trained (or becoming trained) and lead the academic vision of the school.
Option2. Operator-Led Model
You lead the business and operations, supported by a qualified Montessori educational leader.
Investment and Commitment
Starting a Montessori school is a meaningful commitment, both financially and personally. While investment levels vary based on location and size, prospective owners should be prepared for:
- Facility build-out and preparation;
- Recruiting and training your team; and
- Operating capital during ramp-up.
We provide clarity on investment and expectations as you explore the opportunity.
